The blower motor on my goodman furnace makes noise when the heater is in use but not when the air conditioner is in use.
Air conditioners have a fan blade in the front and a fan blade in the rear.
Is your furnace blower motor not working and there is no air coming out of your vents.
Man that was loud but i realized that the noise seemed to be coming from behind the wall where the flames go through and not from the blower motor.
One cause for this sound is that the blower wheel came loose from the motor shaft moved and is hitting the blower housing.

Check the set screw to ensure that it is properly tightened.
The motor shaft and the wheel will be noisy as it turns.

I have replaced just about everything i can except the aux limit switch at the base of the blower unit.
There are no more blinking codes on the logic board.
If the blower wheel is damaged replace it.

Next inspect the wheel for damage.
Check both fan blades to ensure that they are not rubbing again.
In this case if no damage was done to the wheel or the motor shaft it could be moved back to the proper spot and re tightened to the motor.
If the blades aren t rubbing against the housing and the fan motor is still noisy check the fan motor bearings for wear.
